چکیده

Abstract. eLTER was a “Horizon 2020” project with the aim of advancing development long-term ecosystem research infrastructure in Europe. This paper describes how Information System has been expanded by climate service data product providing access to specifically pre-processed regional change scenario from state-of-the-art model ensemble Coordinated Regional Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) for 702 registered ecological sites across tailored, expandable, easily accessible dataset follows FAIR principles and allows researchers describe at these sites, explore future projections different scenarios make assessments impact studies. The each site are available download EUDAT collaborative B2SHARE can be accessed visualised through Dynamic Ecological Management – Site Dataset Registry (DEIMS-SDR), web-based information management system which shares detailed metadata on around globe. they users extended architecture. supporting B2SHARE. Each individual (702 available) its own DOI. To aid discovery, persistent lookup table created matches DOIs record DEIMS ID. is https://doi.org/10.23728/b2share.bf41278d91b445bda4505d5b1eaac26c (eLTER EURO-CORDEX Climate Service, 2020).

Simulation of climate change in Iran during 2071-2100 using PRECIS regional climate modelling system

Parameters such as future precipitation, temperature, snowfall, and runoff were modeled using PRECIS regionalclimate modeling system in Iran with the horizontal resolutions of 0.44×0.44°C in latitude and longitude under SRESA2 and B2 scenarios. The dataset was based on HadAM3p during the periods of 1961-1990 and 2071-2100. Theoverall precipitation error of the model in the period of 1961-1990 w...

Addressing climate information needs at the regional level : the CORDEX framework

The need for climate change information at the regional-to-local scale is one of the central issues within the global change debate. Such information is necessary in order to assess the impacts of climate change on human and natural systems and to develop suitable adaptation and mitigation strategies at the national level. The end-user and policy-making communities have long sought reliable reg...

CORDEX – An international climate downscaling initiative

The World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) is backing an international initiative called the COordinated Regional climate Downscaling EXperiment (CORDEX). The goal of the initiative is to provide regionally downscaled climate projections for most land regions of the globe, as a compliment to the global climate model projections performed within the fifth Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (...

Offshore Wind Energy Climate Projection Using UPSCALE Climate Data under the RCP8.5 Emission Scenario

In previous work, the authors demonstrated how data from climate simulations can be utilized to estimate regional wind power densities. In particular, it was shown that the quality of wind power densities, estimated from the UPSCALE global dataset in offshore regions of Mexico, compared well with regional high resolution studies. Additionally, a link between surface temperature and moist air de...
